we have developed our Textile Recycling Program, in partnership with TEXT Australia.
Our Textile Recycling Program ensures pre-loved sheets and towels — of any brand — are diverted from landfill. By participating in the program, customers expand the lifespan of their textiles and are rewarded with a 20% discount on their next order. The recycled sheets undergo a responsible recycling process, repurposing the natural fibres and minimising waste, helping to build a more sustainable future for the textile industry.

ELIGIBILITY
When you purchase linen from IN THE SAC, you automatically become eligible for our recycling program, however we also accept linen from other brands in our effort to divert textiles from landfill. Our goal is to minimise waste and promote sustainable practices across the entire textile industry.
As your linen starts to show signs of age, you can participate in the program. We encourage you to enjoy the full lifespan of your linen before considering recycling.

RECYCLING PROCESS
When you're ready to recycle your linen sheets, simply visit us at our boutique in Double Bay, or click below to initiate the process. We'll guide you on how to properly package and send your sheets back to us, with the free return postage label provided.

Once we receive your linen for recycling, we will provide you with a 20% discount code for your next purchase of IN THE SAC linen products. This discount serves as our appreciation for your contribution to a circular economy and reducing landfill.

RESPONSIBLE RECYCLING
Once collected, the linen sheets undergo a careful recycling process. We work with TEXT Australia, textile recycling partners who have expertise in handling and repurposing natural fibres. TEXT Australia use innovative methods to transform aged linen into new materials or products - such as bath mats or insulation - minimising environmental impact. So far, TEXT Australia has saved over 934,144 kilos of textiles from entering landfill.
